It’s that time of year again!
The Theta Sigma Memorial Golf Classic will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, beginning at 6:30 am!
The tournament will be held at:
San Dimas Canyon Golf Course
2100 Terrebonne Avenue, San Dimas, CA 91773
It’s a shotgun start, so you must be on-site by 6:30 am to sign in, receive your cart assignment, your raffle tickets, load up your carts and be ready for the 7:30 am launch and an immediate tee off!
There is a very small driving range on-site, so if you’d like to hit some balls, come prepared and early! The tournament start time is fixed.
Of course you can choose your partners! Groups of 4 are preferred. Please coordinate with your anticipated teammates and be sure to note them when filling out the registration form. Individuals who do not specify a group, or any pair that do not have a group will be matched as necessary to accommodate foursomes.
Beverages are NOT provided as a part of your participation/registration in the tournament. There is a bar/beverage service on site, and a golf cart service that roams the course at your own expense. But you might be lucky enough to get a free beer from 1 of our 2 “Theta Sigma Alumni Marshalls” golf carts. (aka, BYOB and visit your vehicle for less expensive refreshments as needed).
We are in the process of working out the post-tournament lunch details. But rest assured, there will be a post-tournament celebration, with awards and a raffle. Lunch is not included in your registration fee..
Each registered golfer will receive 2 raffle tickets upon check-in. Additional raffle tickets will be sold at $5 each during the tournament by our Theta Sigma Marshalls. Only those who participate in the golf tournament and attend the post-tournament lunch are eligible for the raffle prizes.
It’s always great to have brothers donate gifts to be raffled off. In many of the past years, brothers, family and friends have donated gift baskets, gift cards, vacation home stays, or items in the name of a Chapter Eternal Brother, If you would like to donate anything to the raffle, please contact danny@sigmachigolf.com, golf@sigmachigolf.com, or markherda@aol.com.
Also, we have now created a California State Recognized Non-Profit Organization and will be accepting donations from you or your business(es).
Fees are $135/person.
As always, we appreciate your participation and continuation of honoring our fallen Theta Sigma chapter brothers throughout the years, What better way to provide reverence to them than assemble together in their honor!
